Fall Leaves and Birds

Hi Friends - I had some time this afternoon to sit down and create a card. I participated in the Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge today! Today's Color Challenge is to use Crushed Curry,  Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green together on a card.

I love fall, as you have probably heard me mention MANY times and will mention again. The cooler weather, the crisp autumn leaves, the smell of the seasons changing... sweaters, pants, regular shoes - Oh MY! LOL Just the thought of roaring up my fireplace has me excited.

I have SO MANY old products that I was able to use today! I stamped the Wyoming State Bird and Flower: Western Meadowlark & Indian Paintbrush from the State Birds and flowers set in the Pumpkin Patch Spectrum pad. I have not used these pads in AGES! I used Gina K's Foil Mates Autumn Leaves and Copper Foil then sponged with the Crushed Curry,  Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green Classic Ink Pads and sponges to create a colorful border. Once I was finished with that, I used my paper piercing tool and mat and created the faux stitching with a Burgundy marker. I stamped the "my warmest thanks" by using the marker and coloring one word at a time. You can see on the thanks, I miss placed the word but decided a Dew Drop would look nice there so I added one with some mini glue dots. I off set the Pumpkin Pie cardstock on an angle and layered the bird image with Cherry Cobbler cardstock. Using Dimensionals I created some height on the card by popping up the image.

I have had a few months where I have not been feeling like myself. I am coming out of my slump, so I will be posting MORE information about Norwex, my artwork, team trainings and even more here! So be on the look out for MORE great information and artwork!
