Golden Holly

Hey Everyone! This week's CAS challenge is to create a project using some sort of Christmas Foliage. Whether it be holly, mistletoe, poinsettia, wreath, trees, YOU CHOOSE!

I have had this double sided sticker of Holly for a year or more and decided to pull it out with my gold leafing. I made a big beautiful crafty mess and created this card! It was fun! My handy Norwex Dust mitt made the clean up super easy!

I had so much fun making a mess with the Gold leafing flakes. I had a holly double sided sticker that I laid on the white cardstock. I then added the gold and copper flakes. Using my bone folder, I put some pressure on the adhesive to press down the gold leafing. Once I cleaned up the mess, I used Versamark and stamped the Happy Birthday stamp from Art Neko and the Whimsical and Kind Sayings on green cardstock. I sprinkled gold embossing powder on the text and used the Heat Tool to set the embossing powder. To create the scalloped edge, I used the Martha Stewart Edge Punch-Scallop Dot on my gold cardstock. I used some Gold circle stickers to finish off the card. I love those stickers, because they help create a nice look and a flat card which makes it less expensive to mail.

Thanks for taking the time to look! Hope you have a terrific day!
