Peek-a-boo Hedgehog

Hey Friends! I hope you had a TERRIFIC weekend, we are at the beginning of a new week that is going to be filled with ENDLESS possibilities. Sunday afternoon, I had time to do some playing with cardstock and play along with the Clean and Simple challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. This week, our challenge was to create a card using the theme Peek-aboo! We could do whatever we wanted, depending on how "we" interpreted the challenge. I decided to use the technique Shutter Peek-a-boo cards.

The stamps I used were: As the Deer and Owl Be there. I stamped the images using Memento Tuxedo black ink on vanilla cardstock. I also used Crumb Cake and Real Red cardstock, along with the real red patterned paper. I colored these cute critters with my Chameleon Markers. LOVE my Chameleon markers! Have you tried them?

I used three different punches to create all of the circle punch outs. The three I used are 1 1/2", 1 3/8' and 1 1/4". Other tools that I used were my Scor-pal, bone folders, paper snips and dimensionals. The Sweet & Sassy images are so much fun to play with and I love the Worship series they have as well. One of my crafty goals is to start Bible Journaling this year, so stay tuned!
