Savor the Moment

Hello Everyone - as we end our school year, I am sure there are many celebrations from the children. With those celebrations and the excitement comes the extra boost parents will need to get rhough the summer. Right?!

On todays card, I started with watercolor paper and Burgundy and brown gelatos. Lightly misting the paper with water to moisten it, I then ran the gelatos over the image and rubbed them together with my fingers. I set aside and allowed the paper to dry.

Have you seen the papers over at Art Neko? There are so many gorgeous collages! I have fallen in love with these grape collages. I am not a wine drinker, but love the colors, texture and feel of it. I looked over the Printed Collage Sheet of Wine and Grapes
COLL0374 to pick the image I would want to go with the stamp I chose. Using River Rock cardstock, I stamped the Savor the Moment words from the A239 Proverbs and Words in River Rock ink repeatedly to create the background. I then layered the image from the Collage sheet (after cutting it out.)

Taking the watercolor paper that I used the gelatos on, I stamped the Grape image using Versamark ink. I then sprinkled black embossing powder over it and heat set it using a heat gun. Then usingRich Razzleberry and Always Artichoke ink and an aquapainter, I watercolored the leaves and grapes, highlighting areas with a white gel pen. Once the image was dried, I cut it out and mounted it on Early Espresso Cardstock. Using Dimensionals, I adhered the image to the river rock piece of cardstock. I wrapped a Pomegranite ribbon around the sides, adhering with my Atg gun. I then found an old button and added that using a Glue Dot. To complete the card, I layered the River Rock layers onto an Early espresso and Rich Razzleberry cardstock.

This card is available for purchase for $4.00. It is available for pick up at my home or I can mail it to you for a low cost of postage. An envelope is included.

Thank you for stopping by!
